Hi, Mom. Here are a bunch of pictures of our Anniversary trip we took to Charlotte, which is only about an hour and a half away. We'd never really explored the area, so we booked a motel in Gastonia, just south of there, last Friday - Sunday. We had a wonderful time.
I got some flowers on my Lilac bush this year.
My pictures got a little mixed up. Here is a trail we climbed on Crowders Mountain. It has 336 steps right near the top that we had to climb.
We drove to the Brooklyn Water Bagel Company for breakfast Saturday morning. We went to one of these in Maryland when we visited our friends and loved it.
We stopped at the Carolina Raptor Center near Charlotte. Ed has the wingspan of a Golden Eagle.
My wingspan is a little bigger than a Great Horned Owl. LOL
At the Latta Plantation Nature Preserve.
We had dinner Saturday night in Charlotte at the RedEye Diner. Really classy!

We visited the Schiele Science Museum in Gastonia. Here is Ed watching a show in the planetarium. LOLOL
Climbing the 336 steps.
We had such a good time. We are calling these "mini-vacations" and looking forward to planning another one soon.
I love you, Mom.
XOXOXOXOXXOXOXOX
